HOW TO GET TO EL NEGRE?
El Negre is accessed via a 9 km forest track suitable for passenger cars. If you have the GOOGLE MAPS app on your mobile, you can find the directions to El Negre. It is necessary to type "Alberg rural El Negre".
Directions from Ripoll: On the road between Ripoll and Sant Joan de les Abadesses, at the end of a long straight part of the road and after passing by the Hostal Rama restaurant, you will find a very tight double bend. There you will see the forest track that you will have to take. Continue a little further; on the right you will find the entrance to a tennis and padel center where you can change of direction safely and get to the begining of the forest track.
Once on the track, (see photos) follow it for about 7 kilometers, you will find a barrier for cows (you can drive through it, without having to get down the car). Right after, you will see a turn to the right with the El Negre sign (it starts with a concrete climb). Drive for 2km and you'll be here!
IMPORTANT
If Google Maps takes you to Ogassa: TURN AROUND! There is a part of this track very stony.

ENVIRONMENT AND WALKS
El Negre has a privileged location, in a magical valley of Ogassa. All kinds of short and long excursions can be done there, on foot or by bike.
In El Negre there is not much mobile network to download the Wikiloc routes or the pdf.
It’s better if you download it in advance from your place!
FOREST BATHING
by Bosc Endins
We will go to Bosc Endins (deep into the forest) to walk, to contemplate (within us and the sorroundings), to create. On an inner journey to live from presence, become aware and recognize one's essence.
Are you coming as a guest and want to experience a forest bathing?
Contact us by whatsapp at 626 11 68 58 to check availability and make a reservation.
On the day of departure, rooms must be left empty before 12pm.
Guidelines for a good coexistence between guests
-
BEDDING
Before leaving please place the bedding (sheet, fittet sheet and pillowcase) on the laundry baskets. Please leave in the room the blanket and the matress protector.
-
SILENCE
Silence must be done in all the house from 23h. We respect the rest of all the guests.
-
FIREPLACE
Before making a fire or adding logs to it, notify a member of the team.
-
ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
In order not to clog up the water biological treatment plant that we have, toilet paper can't be thrown in the toilet. They must be disposed of in the bin. In order to respect the forest, El Negre provides guests with body soap and shampoo, as these must be organic.
-
ENERGETIC AWARENESS
If you want to charge a device, please do so during daylight hours. In order to save unnecessary consumption, we ask to turn off the lights that are not in use. Please do not use hair dryers, due to the high consumption they require.
-
US OF SLIPPERS
In order to respect the wooden floor and keep it clean, we ask to use slippers. We have many slippers to use in case you haven't brought yours from home.
-
WHERE CAN I HANG THE TOWEL?
On the 1st floor, there are hangers where you can leave wet towels. These are outside the bathroom in the direction of the laundry (emergency exit/exterior ramp).
-
DO YOU WANT A DRINK?
If you fancy a drink (soda, beer, etc.), we have a self-service fridge, located in the small dining room on the main floor. We operate by trust: if you take a drink, just write your name and what you took in the sheet of paper you'll find by the fridge. At your departure we will include the consumption in the payment.
-
DIRTY DISHES AFTER MEALS
Each person is responsible for leaving their dishes, cutlery and glasses in the dirty dishes area, on the table set up for this purpose in the main dining room. You must deposit the remains of food, paper or waste in the metal buckets you will find right there. Thank you!
